I discovered this gem of a company while visiting a farmers market in San Diego. I have ordered many of there products over the years. I absolutely love everything I have purchased. I have very sensitive skin and this shampoo leaves my way curly hair shiny and in control. All of my daughters get stocking stuffers every year for Christmas. They love the Holistic Science products also.

I wasnt highly impressed after first use. It didn't seem to get a lot of suds and my hair still felt "dirty" after use, also wish the scent was different, something more floral. However I will keep using as I'm trying to use as few chemicals possible on my body these days and all your other products have been amazing so maybe I need more uses before I start seeing/feeling results.

I was in San Diego for a training and wandered into the Holistic Science shop on a break. I looked around at the products and chose some sulfur bath salts in a glass jar, and a small container of Silk-e-Smooth shampoo, reassured by the lady at the counter that it would soften my dry hair and balance my oily scalp. For many months my hair became dry and oily. I tried several clarifying shampoos on it, tried baking soda in the scalp (which took the oil out, but made the hair dry), tried lemon juice, avocado, conditioners....Ultimately, just two washes with silk-e-smooth restored the balance to my scalp and gave me soft hair again! I recently purchased a bigger bottle on their website, which I haven't needed to open yet because I still have plenty in the small bottle that I originally purchased. I have long, thick hair and even on my hair, a little goes a long way. The lady at the counter recommended using a nickel size amount and it works! This shampoo makes my hair so soft that I wondered if they actually use real silk in it? But it's not listed on the ingredients. The shampoo smells wonderful, a gentle, citrus scent with some ginger. This is the best shampoo I have ever washed my hair with! <3

My son, who had purchased a bottle in your San Diego store, suggested I try it. I liked it a lot and ordered my own bottle. I like the way it feels in my hair, the gentle hint of fragrance, the earth- and people= friendly ingredients. It truly is a great product made by good people.

This is hands down the best shampoo I've ever used. The best way to describe it is, silky. I am hooked.
